It is 29, now 49 days since I first published this blog and I don’t see any improvement and now there are claims that NATO is dragging its feet over supplying vital armaments to Ukraine. The following is a quote from a piece reported by distinguished journalist John Simpson on 7th April 2022:

“Precisely because they believe they are in for a long and difficult war, Ukrainian politicians from President Volodymyr Zelensky down are getting angry with what Ukraine sees as Nato’s pathetically slow delivery of weapons supplies.”

Pootin makes one declaration hinting at what he might do and the whole world stops and allows him to continue his murderous expedition. He has two daughters. Is he going to put them at risk from nuclear fallout? NATO could have stopped this weeks ago.

And what exactly is NATO? It is an intergovernmental military alliance among 28 European countries and 2 North American countries. Established in the aftermath of World War II, the organisation implements the North Atlantic Treaty, signed 4 April 1949. Since its founding, the admission of new member states has increased the alliance from the original 12 countries to 30. The most recent member state to be added to NATO was North Macedonia on 27 March 2020. NATO currently recognises Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Ukraine as aspiring members.

Sweden¬†became NATO’s newest member on Thursday (7 March 2024), upon depositing its instrument of accession to the North Atlantic Treaty with the Government of the United States in Washington DC. With Sweden’s accession, NATO now counts 32 countries among its members.

We have a rogue state, namely Russia, waging war on their neighbours, Ukraine. Russia is currently run by Vladimir Putin, a paranoid madman and his cronies. They are gradually flattening Ukraine, using all the weapons at their disposal. The Politicians of all descriptions, along with military people, religious leaders, journalists and the usual wise commentators with their beautifully constructed opinions, they have done nothing to stop this disaster. They were incapable of seeing it coming or perhaps didn’t want to see it and so many of the Politicians had and still have too many Russian mates and happy to receive their ill gotten gains, so they pop up on the media saying how much they care but their hands are tied because naughty Mr Putin is going to dig out his nuclear weapons and destroy the world, because that’s what firing just one of those weapons will do. There are plenty of good TedX talks on Youtube explaining the consequences of using these deadly weapons. It’s not rocket science. Oh well maybe it is.

Imagine a member of NATO attacking another NATO country. Will they not retaliate because they are scared they might provoke a nuclear war?

Some smart heads, not Politicians, could get together and make a plan to stop Putin now. The people of Ukraine are getting blown to smithereens and the cities and towns are being flattened, producing an Aleppo lookalike. Little children are killed by artillery and/or cruise missiles and their bodies left in the streets all because of some madman’s whim. I propose young children and teenagers get together and brainstorm some solutions to this terrible situation in Ukraine. Einstein said that we can’t solve a problem with the same thinking that created the problem

NATO should act now and I don’t mean wagging their finger and warning¬† Putin that he must stop, or sanctioning his mates, some of whom are also Tory mates. No that won’t stop him.

NATO must be bold and take out his forces and his ability to launch nuclear weapons. No pussy footing around, do it now. After all that’s what you have been bragging about for 50 years or more, how being a nuclear state means it stops nut cases like Putin and that is why we have Trident in Scotland at a huge cost to the people of the UK, also being a member of NATO. offers protection. Some politicians are very good at selling their lies and are hopeless in a crisis. Too many vested interests and now they are entangled in their own web of deceit.
